In the Kings murder i think some things that dont add up if i didnt know about Macbeth killing the king is how he killed the suspected murders right away. How the Kings sons ran away. How the murders had nothing to gain by killing the king. How the murders were found just waking up and how they didnt flee after they killed the king. I think the most curious ones are that the killers didnt run away or clean the blood off of themselfs and that Macbeth killed them right away and that he was next in line should the brothers run away.

I agree with Hanne, the thing that didn't add up the most was the fact the "murderers" were just laying there like nothing happened. If they did happen to murder Duncan, wouldn't they just run away? Plus Macbeth was the only one that would have gained something over Duncan's murder and that kind of gives it away right there that the suspected murderers wouldn't have done it. It all doesn't add up to me.

yeah, how the "murderers" remained at the scene of the crime would seem suspicious to me too. I would also think that it's kind of suspicious how Macbeth "knew" that the chamberlains killed Duncan and he (Macbeth) killed them. Had Macbeth not killed the chamberlains, they would have been available for questioning and the truth would be revealed that they had not murdered the king. Another thing that *might* not add up is that Macbeth doesn't appear to think that he is in any danger. I know if i were the new king after the current one had just been murdered i would be very cautious of those around me.

I think that if anyone would have had the sense and courage to doubt MacBecth's innocence, alot of people would have seen all of the things that never really add up. For example, the supposed murderers were just waking up as the bodies were discovered. Who would have simply gone back to sleep and stayed at the scene of the crime if it were not just a set up? And did the "killers" have a motive to kill the king? None what so ever. And why did MacBeth seem in such a haste to kill them? Because they would soon tell everyone of their innocence. MacBeth would have non of that. I think that if someone would just stop and think, they would seehow all these things really dont add up.

Well, (munching on doughnut), I would agree with my fellow law enforcers that things don't add up in this case. I think it's kind of fishy and rather convienient that Macbeth killed the "murderers" before they were given a chance to speak. Also, the claimed "murderers" had nothing to gain in killing Duncan. Malcolm and Donalbain wouldn't have anything to gain by killing their father either, because they are next in line for the throne. I agree that it doesn't make sense for the "murderers" to stay covered in blood to be discovered after Duncan was found dead. If you ask me, I think those poor soldiers were framed.
